We were recently involved in an exhibition curated by Shepard Fairey for Samsung where 6 artists were invited to interpret an emoticon; the idea being to create something meaningful out of something that is quite throwaway. Appropriately, we were given the wink ;) and created a fake - and generally impossible - sculpture rendered in 3D. It's basically a riff on visual perception and the internet, and that whether something is "real" or not has become kind of irrelevant. That said, a lot of people have asked us where the actual sculpture is. We think it's hilarious though and it's definitely our favourite at the moment.
